Dalla Cement Works

Dalla Cement Works is right on the edge of National Highway No.5, so there's always a lot of noise from the trucks passing by. Being in the Dalla Main Road Market means we see a lot of people coming and going every day. It’s a busy spot. We mostly deal with cement and concrete stuff right here on the site. If you walk past, you'll see bags of cement piled up and some of the finished pieces sitting out in the sun. We started doing this because there was a need for these materials locally, and we just stayed. The sun gets pretty hot out here on the highway, but we keep the work going regardless. It’s a simple setup really. No one wears a suit around here. We’re usually covered in a bit of grey dust from the mixing. We don't have a big website or fancy signs, just the work we do. People from the market or folks driving through often stop to ask about prices or if we can make something specific for their house. We just tell them what we have and how long it takes. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. The shop isn't much to look at, but we’ve got the tools and the space to get the cement work finished. We've been part of the Dalla community for a bit now, just doing our thing near the road. It isn't anything special to look at, but it gets the job done for the people who need it.
