Our place is located at House Number 1781 in Datta Nagar, right here in Solapur. It’s a typical residential-commercial mix area, so it feels very grounded and real. We do structural engineering work, mostly involving calculations and making sure buildings are going to stand up properly. Solapur can get really hot, especially in the summer months, so we keep the fans going all day long. The office isn't too big, but it fits what we need perfectly. We have a few desks, some old cupboards full of files, and our computers. Datta Nagar is a busy little pocket, and there’s always something happening outside on the street. People know us as the engineers from 1781. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm. We just sit here, look at the plans people bring in, and figure out the structural parts. Sometimes clients come in with very rough sketches on a piece of paper and we have to turn that into something real. It takes time and a lot of patience. We deal with a lot of local builders and homeowners who just want to make sure their house is safe. There is always a stack of blueprints waiting to be checked. It’s honest work, and we’ve been in this part of Solapur for a good while now. The 1781 house is easy to find if you know the Datta Nagar landmarks. We just do the work and try to stay cool in the heat.
