Gammon India Ltd

Latur is where we are for this branch of Gammon India Ltd. We are located in the 413512 area. It is a dry part of Maharashtra, so we deal with the heat quite a bit. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we keep our equipment and files. We have been working out of Latur for a while now. The day starts with a bit of cleaning and then we get right into the project updates. There is a lot of movement because we have people coming in from different sites. We don't really bother with expensive decor. It is just desks, chairs, and stacks of paper in the cupboards. You can hear the sounds of the street outside most of the time. We know the local vendors around here, and they know us. It is a small team but we keep things running as best as we can. Most of our work involves making sure the construction schedules are being met. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people about materials. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from early morning till evening. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s a typical setup for a company like ours in a place like Latur. We just do our bit and keep things moving. We hope the monsoon is good this year.
