Shree Siddheshwar Marble Udyog is located at Plot No. 159 in the MIDC area on Akkalkot Road. Being in an industrial zone like this means there is always the sound of machinery and trucks in the air. We are right by the Life Line Factory, which is a good landmark for people trying to find our gate. The yard is quite large because we need the space for all the marble we keep. It’s not a place where you’ll find fancy carpets or glass offices. We have a small office space with a fan and some old desks where we keep track of everything. Most of our time is spent out on the plot, looking at the slabs and making sure everything is where it should be. The sun can be quite harsh on Akkalkot Road, so we stay busy and move fast. We get a lot of workers and contractors coming through. They don't want a long talk; they just want to see the marble and know when it can be delivered. We’ve been here long enough that the rhythm of the MIDC feels natural to us. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when the big shipments come in and we have to crane everything into place. We don't put on any acts. We are just here doing our job, selling stone, and keeping the yard running as best as we can every day.
