Raj Granite Industries

Raj Granite Industries is located at No.W-90 in the MIDC Industrial Area on Akkal Road. Being in an industrial zone means there is always something going on around us with trucks and heavy machinery moving all the time. Our spot isn't meant to be pretty, it’s just a workspace where we handle a lot of granite. The Akkal Road area is usually quite busy and the dust from the factories is just part of the daily life here. We have a lot of space at W-90 which is necessary because the blocks we deal with are huge and take up a lot of ground. The sun beats down on the yard all day and we just get on with the cutting and moving. There’s no big marketing team here, just the workers who know how to handle the stone. We started here because the location was right for getting the heavy loads in and out without too much trouble. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area and things slow down but we usually find something else to do until it comes back on. It’s a gritty kind of job and our clothes are usually covered in stone dust by lunchtime. We don't have a fancy showroom, just rows of granite slabs leaning against the frames. If you are looking for the industrial side of things, this is where we are. We just keep the machines running and the yard stocked.
