Working out of the MIDC area in Chincholi can be quite loud most days. Sheth & Sura Engineers Pvt. Ltd is located at plot A-19, and being in an industrial zone like this means there is always the sound of machinery or trucks nearby. We spend most of our hours on the floor dealing with engineering tasks. It’s mostly about metal, measurements, and making sure the machines are doing what they are supposed to do. The sun gets pretty hot over here in Moholl, especially in the afternoons when the workshop roof picks up all that heat. We have our desks and our tools, and that’s about it. It’s a practical setup. We aren’t really into making things look pretty; we just want the parts to be right. A lot of our time goes into checking drawings and then seeing how that translates to the actual metal we are working with. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a machine acts up or a part isn't fitting quite right. That’s just how it goes with engineering work. We usually have tea together in the mid-morning to catch a break. It's a small group of us here, and we’ve all gotten used to the grease and the noise. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the shift is done. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
