Our place is located right near the S.T Stand on the Pune-Pandharpur Road. If you are driving through Khudus, you cannot really miss the turn-off. We are at Gat No-1182/1B. It gets quite dusty out here with all the trucks passing by on the main road, but that is just part of being in the agriculture trade in Solapur. Most days, we are busy talking to farmers or checking the quality of whatever is coming in from the fields. It is honest work. The weather really dictates how our week is going to go. If the rain is good, everyone is happy, but when it is dry, things get a bit stressful around here. We have been in Malshiras for a bit now and we know most of the people who stop by our gate. We are not doing anything fancy. We just buy and sell what the land provides. Sometimes the market prices are up, sometimes they are down, and we just have to manage. The office is not much to look at, mostly just a desk and a few chairs for when people come in to settle accounts. We spend more time outside in the yard anyway. It is a loud spot being so close to the bus stand, but it makes it easy for people to find us. We just try to keep things fair and get the produce moving to where it needs to be. It is what we do to make a living. The trucks sometimes block the entrance, but we figure it out.
