Greengrower Traditional Seeds Producer Company Limited

We are based out in Mohol, specifically at Gat No 101 near Babar Wasti. Greengrower Traditional Seeds Producer Company Limited is a bit of a long name, but we just think of ourselves as people who care about what goes into the ground. We work out of the space provided by Rani Dalvepatil’s family. It’s a rural area, which makes total sense for what we do every day. You won’t find any glass buildings or paved parking lots here. It’s mostly dirt roads and open fields around us. We spend a lot of our time with the actual seeds, making sure they are handled right and kept in good condition. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things by hand, which is how it should be. Our team is small, mostly locals from around Mohol who know the land better than anyone. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department to tell our story. Most of our connections are made through word of mouth or people just stopping by the gate to see what we have. Life moves a bit slower here than in the cities like Mumbai, but the work is just as hard, if not harder. We don't use big corporate slogans because they don’t mean much to a farmer who is trying to grow a crop. We just focus on getting the traditional seeds sorted and ready for use. Some days the weather makes things difficult, and other days everything goes smooth. That’s just the nature of working with the land. We’re just regular folks trying to keep these varieties going.
