Our place is more of a storage and management spot where we keep track of everything. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on top of the harvest cycles. Akkalkot is a famous place, but our corner of it is just focused on the dirt and the crops. We handle things as they come. If a shipment is late, we wait. If the rain is heavy, we adjust. It’s a very practical way of living and working. There are just a few of us who run the place. We’ve known most of the people around here for years.
