We are based out in Madha, which is in the Solapur district of Maharashtra. Our specific spot is Plot No. 498 in Choriya Societies. It is a bit of a distance from the main city, but it suits us fine. The atmosphere in Madha is very different from Pune or Mumbai. It’s much more grounded and quiet. Our office is right there on the plot. It’s a simple building that we use to manage all our local work. The air is a bit drier here and it gets quite hot in the summer months, so we keep the fans going all day. We have our regulars who stop by to talk about land or construction. Most people in the society know where we are. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us who know the local area well. We handle everything from this small office. There’s a lot of dust from the roads sometimes, but that’s just part of being here. We keep our records in metal cupboards and spend a lot of time out on the actual sites anyway. This place is more like a home base for us. We drink a lot of tea and water and stay focused on the tasks at hand. It’s a straightforward life here in Solapur, and we like the practical nature of the work we do every day. It feels right for us.
