K L Patil & Sons is a small family business we’ve been running out of Tugaon for a long time. Our place is in Namdev Nagar, which is close to the Swasan Kali area in Osmanabad. It’s a quiet part of town, and most people here are involved in farming or local trades. We named the business after our father because he was the one who really got things going in this community. We do a bit of everything depending on what the season requires. Sometimes we are handling agricultural supplies, and other times we are helping with general trade items. My sons help me out now, and we work together to manage the daily tasks. It’s not a corporate office with fancy furniture. We have a simple desk, a few chairs, and a lot of registers to keep track of who owes what. The neighbors often drop by just to say hello or ask for advice on some equipment. We like being in Tugaon because it’s where we grew up. The road near Swasan Kali can be a bit rough during the rains, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. We just try to be honest with people and do our work properly every day. It’s a life we are used to and we are happy with how things are. We usually close up early in the evening to spend time with our families and friends.
