Irrigation Utilities

We have been here at 168 Industrial Estate on Hotgi Road for quite a while now. Most days start pretty early because that is when the trucks come in and we need to get things moving before the sun gets too high and the heat becomes a real problem. It gets quite dusty around here, being in a busy industrial area and all, but we manage to keep things going. People in the area know us for dealing with irrigation stuff, mostly pipes and different fittings that local farmers or builders might need for their projects. It is not fancy work at all. Our office is small and usually has some papers piled up on the desk that really need sorting, but we never quite find the time. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it keeps us cool enough during the afternoon slump. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to various suppliers or checking if a delivery arrived on time at the site. The road outside can get a bit blocked when the bigger lorries try to turn into the estate, but that is just a regular part of being in this part of town. Most of us have worked together for years now, so we don't really need to say much to know what needs doing next. We just focus on getting the right parts out to the people who need them. If a customer comes by, they usually just walk in and we have a chat about what they are looking for over a cup of tea. It is a very straightforward way to spend the day, really. Nothing too complicated or stressful, just keeping things running at Irrigation Utilities.
