The shop is tucked away in Siddheshwar Peth at number 6054. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded, especially on market days. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for a long time, and the walls probably have stories to tell if they could talk. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the inventory stacked up, but we know where everything is. Mostly, we just spend our time dealing with the local folks who come in looking for specific items. The morning starts with rolling up the shutters and sweeping the front step. It’s dusty work, and the traffic noise from the Peth never really stops until late at night. We don’t have much in the way of air conditioning, so the ceiling fans are always going full blast. My desk is covered in ledger books and loose bits of paper because that’s just how I work best. It might look messy to someone else, but it’s a system that’s kept us going. We don’t bother with much decoration. People know what we do and they know where to find us when they need something done right. It’s a simple way of living, really. Just coming in every day, talking to the neighbors, and handling the business as it comes. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do.
