Hotel Pachami

Hotel Pachami is right on Bijapur Road in Solapur. If you are driving along and see the Nidgiri Petrol Pump, you are pretty much right there. It’s a handy spot for drivers and people traveling between cities. We get a lot of people stopping in because they are tired from being on the road all day. The area around here is mostly about transport and travel, so it stays pretty active. We aren't a big corporate chain. It’s more of a local operation where we do most of the work ourselves. We keep the rooms simple and try to make sure everything is functional. Sometimes the heat in Solapur gets pretty intense, so we do what we can to keep things comfortable. It’s not a place with a lot of bells and whistles. You get a bed and a bathroom and a place to park. We spend a lot of time talking to travelers who are just passing through for one night. There is always some dust from the road, but we try to keep on top of the cleaning. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of running a place, but it works for us. We’ve seen the road change quite a bit over the years. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next traveler to pull in. It’s a steady kind of life here on Bijapur Road. We don't have much to offer besides a place to sleep, but usually, that is exactly what people are looking for when they stop here.
