Hotel Nisarg

Our hotel is out on the Solapur Pune Highway, right in the MIDC Chincholi area. It’s a bit of an industrial spot, especially being so close to the Bharat Gas Company. We get a lot of truck drivers, sales agents, and people traveling between the big cities. Because we are on the highway, things can get pretty dusty and noisy, but that’s the nature of the location. We started Hotel Nisarg to give these travelers a place to stop and catch their breath. The food is simple and filling, the kind of stuff we eat ourselves. We don't have fancy menus or waiters in suits. It’s just us in the kitchen and at the counter. The rooms are meant for sleeping, nothing more. We keep them as clean as possible despite the highway grit. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a lot of movement on the road. We’ve learned to deal with the heat and the long hours. We don't use any complicated systems to run the place. We just write things down in a ledger and talk to our guests. It’s a very basic lifestyle out here. We just want to make sure people have a safe place to park and a quiet room for the night before they continue their journey. It is a tough job sometimes, but we are used to the highway life now.
