Gillnet Fishries & Agro (Opc) Private Limited

We operate Gillnet Fishries & Agro out of Patkal, which is a small place in the Mangalweda area of Solapur. Our main spot is at Gat No 534. It’s very much a rural setup, surrounded by fields and the local landscape. We do a mix of things here, dealing with both fish and some agricultural work because that's what makes sense in this part of Maharashtra. The weather in Solapur can get really hot, which affects how we manage the water and the crops. It is not an easy life, but it is what we know. We aren't a big team, just a small group of us trying to make the land and the water productive. We spend most of our time outdoors, getting our hands dirty and checking on the nets or the soil. There isn't much noise out here in Patkal, just the sounds of the village and the work being done. We handle everything ourselves, from the heavy lifting to the basic bookkeeping. It’s a one-person company on paper, but it takes a lot of effort to keep things running. We don't use any fancy equipment; we stick to what works for us. If you come by, you'll see we're just regular folks working hard. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay. It’s about keeping the cycle going and making sure the business survives another season.
