Even though our name says Mumbai, we are actually based out of Bhawani Peth in Solapur. Our office is in the Keshar Pandurang building. It’s an interesting situation because people often expect us to be in the big city, but we are right here in Solapur instead. The workspace is very simple. We have our drafting tables and some older computers that still work perfectly fine for what we need. Solapur has a different pace than Mumbai, which we actually quite like. Most of our work is about helping people get their building plans sorted out for local projects. It involves a lot of back and forth with the local authorities and checking site measurements on the ground. We get dusty shoes quite often from visiting construction sites around this part of town. The office is usually cluttered with big blueprints and half-empty coffee mugs. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors all know who we are. It’s not a high-end studio; it’s more of a workshop where we figure things out as we go. Sometimes we spend hours just trying to get a single line right on a technical drawing. It can be frustrating when things don’t align on the screen, but we just keep at it until it’s correct. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few of us who have been working together for years now. It’s a steady rhythm of work, day in and day out.
