You can find Bench Mark Design Architect over in Vrudhwan Society. We are tucked in near the SBI ATM and not far from the Kinara Hotel. If you see the HDFC Bank, we are right across from there. It is a decent part of Solapur to work in. Our office is where all the sketching and planning happens. We spend a lot of time bent over tables looking at structural details and floor plans. Being an architect means thinking about how a building will actually stand up and work for the people inside it. It is more than just pretty pictures. We deal with the technical side too. The area around us is usually busy with people going to the bank or the ATM, so there is always something happening outside the window. We are a small group, just a couple of us who know the trade. Sometimes we have to go out to sites to see how the construction is moving along. That’s the part that gets your shoes dirty. Back in the office, it’s mostly computers and rolls of paper. We try to be practical. Not every building needs to be a monument, it just needs to work well. We have been in Vrudhwan Society for a while now. Most folks in the neighborhood know where we are. We don't have a big reception desk, just come in and we can talk about whatever you are building. It’s just us here most days. We stay focused on the blueprints.
