Amol Pharma

We’ve been here at Pratap Singh Chowk for a while now. Our shop is right on the ground floor near Hotel Moonlight in Akluj. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out. I usually get in early to unlock the shutters and check what stock came in overnight. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work by keeping everything in its place on the shelves. Sometimes people get confused because of the hotel next door, but once they see the sign for Amol Pharma, they find us just fine. It’s mostly just us handling the daily requests and making sure the inventory is right. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the road right outside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up. Working in Akluj is alright, it’s a tight community where most people know each other by name. We don't really do anything fancy here. We just sit behind the counter, answer the phone, and help whoever walks through the door. Some days are slow and we just watch the traffic go by the chowk, and other days we barely have time to eat lunch. That’s just how it goes with a local business. We keep the ledger books on the desk and try to stay on top of the paperwork, which never seems to end. It’s a simple life, just running a pharma shop in this part of town.
