Ispat Enterprises

Our place, Ispat Enterprises, is located right on Sai Road in Baddi. We are very close to Labour Chownk, which is always a hive of activity with people looking for work and trucks passing through. Baddi is an industrial kind of town, so there is always a layer of grit on the windows and the sound of machinery in the distance. We have been based here near the chownk for a good bit of time. The office itself is simple, just a few chairs and a desk where we track the steel orders. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a fan going constantly just to stay comfortable. People stop by all the time asking for directions or checking on their shipments. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure things run smoothly. We know the other shop owners on Sai Road pretty well, and we often share a quick tea when things aren't too frantic. The work at Ispat Enterprises is mostly about coordinating logistics and making sure the steel gets to the right construction sites on time. It is steady work and it keeps us out of trouble. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is quiet enough to actually organize the filing cabinet. That is just the way it goes here near Labour Chownk.
