Mciit Computer Center

We started Mciit Computer Center because folks around Village Babuganj needed a place to learn about computers without going too far. Being near the Power House makes it easy to find us. It’s just a small setup in the Post Office Kishunganj area. Most days it is just us helping people figure out how to type or use the internet. We aren't a big city school, just local people. It gets busy in the afternoons when students finish their regular classes. The Sandwa Chandrika Block area is where we live and work every day. Sometimes the power goes out, but we deal with it and wait for it to come back. We have a few desks and some older machines that still run fine for learning. People come by mostly to get basic skills for jobs or just to see what a computer can do. It’s not fancy inside. We have some posters on the wall and a few chairs for waiting. My cousin helps out sometimes when more people show up than we expected. We try to keep the place clean, though dust from the road gets in every time the door opens. If you are walking past the Power House, you'll see our sign. We've been here a while now. It feels good to see neighbors learning something new. We just keep things simple and try to be helpful when someone asks a question. Most of the time, we are just sitting here working through the lessons with whoever walks in.
