Chandrahasini Agro Food Products Private Limited

We’re based out of House Number 14 in the village of Belwar, over in the Raghnathpur area of Siwan. The company is run from the home of Chandrama Pandey. It’s a small, family-style operation. We don't have a factory with big machines or anything; it’s more about the food products we handle locally. Being in Siwan, we are surrounded by farms, so it made sense to start Chandrahasini Agro Food Products. We spend our days dealing with the local produce, checking the quality, and getting things packed up. It’s not very glamorous work. There’s a lot of dust and heavy lifting. We don’t have a marketing department to write fancy things about us. We just focus on getting the food products out to people who need them. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait around, or the delivery trucks get delayed on the narrow roads. That’s just part of the job here in Nikhati Kalan. We take pride in what we do, but we don't go around bragging about it. We’re just regular people trying to run a business that makes sense for our village. It’s a lot of long hours and talking to different suppliers. We keep it simple and honest. If you come by Belwar, you’ll see us working away, just like everyone else in this part of Bihar. There is always work to be done, so we stay busy from morning till night.
