Krishnapal Singh Degree College Samiti

This college committee works out of Tambour in the Sitapur district. It is one of those places where you really feel the distance from the main city. The office is usually busy with people coming in from the nearby villages to ask about admissions or paperwork. We sit in a building that is practical and does what it needs to do. There is a lot of paper work involved in running a degree college, so you will see stacks of files on almost every desk. The samiti members meet up to discuss the basic stuff like fixing the roof or managing the staff schedules. It isn't a flashy setup at all. We have the typical wooden chairs and old cupboards where all the records are kept. Outside, the road can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up. Students come here after they finish school, looking to get their degrees without having to travel too far from home. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day things that keep the college running. It is a lot of work that people don’t always see. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we have to wait around to get things uploaded. It is just a regular office in a rural part of Sitapur where we handle the business of running a local college. No one is in a huge rush, but the work gets done eventually. We deal with the usual local issues and keep the doors open for anyone.
