A.N.D. Teacher'S Training College

If you look behind the Home Guard Office in Shivpuri, Sitapur, you’ll find us at number 63. It’s a bit of a specific location in Chhattisgarh, and being tucked away like that makes it a quiet place to work. We focus on training teachers here, so the people coming in are usually a bit older and more focused on their future careers. The building is simple and doesn't stand out much from the others on the road. We have a few lecture halls and some space for administrative work. It’s a practical setup for people who are learning how to manage a classroom themselves. The grounds are mostly just dirt and some grass, nothing fancy. We get people coming from all over the Sitapur area. Sometimes the commute is long for them, so we try to be mindful of that with our scheduling. The staff room is a small space where we sit and talk about how the trainees are doing. We don't have any flashy marketing or big slogans. It’s just about getting through the curriculum and making sure everyone understands the teaching methods. There’s a lot of writing on boards and practicing lessons. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We’ve been here for a while now, and we just keep doing what we’ve always done. It’s not a glamorous job, but it feels good to see the trainees eventually go off to work in schools of their own.
