Green Field College

Green Field College is located right on the Sitapur-Hardoi Road in Sitapur. Being on a main road like that makes it easy for students to reach us by bus or bike from the surrounding villages. We focus on college-level studies, so the atmosphere is a bit different from a primary school. The students here are older and are starting to think about what jobs they want to get. We have several buildings on the site for different departments. It’s a practical place where the focus is on getting through the degree requirements. Sitapur is a busy town, and our campus reflects that with people coming and going all day long. We don't have a lot of lush green fields despite the name, but we have enough room for everyone to get their work done. The classrooms are basic and the library has the books needed for the courses we offer. Teachers here mostly stick to the lectures and help students prepare for their university exams. We aren't trying to be a fancy private university; we just provide a place for local people to continue their education without having to travel too far away. It’s a straightforward setup. We open the gates in the morning, the students attend their classes, and we close up once the final evening lectures are done. It’s honest work for everyone involved and we try to keep it affordable for the local families in the area.
