K. Asif Modern Public Inter College - Salarpur

Down here in Salarpur, Sitapur, our college is a bit of a landmark for the local students. K. Asif Modern Public Inter College has been part of this community for years. Being an inter college means we have the older students who are getting ready for their big board exams. It’s a serious time for them, and you can see them huddled over books in the courtyard or near the cycles. The building is a typical Sitapur structure, standing amidst the greenery of the Salarpur area. It’s not a modern glass building; it’s made of brick and mortar and has seen many seasons of rain and sun. We have students coming from various nearby villages, some walking and some on their bicycles. The atmosphere is quite grounded. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we have the teachers who show up every day to give their lectures. During the exam season, the whole place feels a bit tense, but otherwise, it’s just the usual school life. We have a small office where we handle all the registrations and the government paperwork, which is always a lot. Sometimes the goats from the nearby fields wander near the boundary, and it’s just part of the local life here in Uttar Pradesh. We are just a group of people trying to keep this college going so the kids here have a place to study without going too far.
