Shiksha Diksha Agro Producer Companylimited

We are based out in the village of Pharendra Servjeet, near the Semara Maharaj post office. It’s a quiet area, mostly just fields and small houses. We started this producer company because we wanted to bring the local farmers together. There’s a lot of us here, and doing things on your own is hard. We spend our mornings checking on the crops and our afternoons sitting around talking about what needs to be done next. The name Shiksha Diksha sounded right because we’re always learning something new about the soil or the seeds. It’s not like a classroom, though. It’s more like learning from each other’s mistakes. Sometimes a crop fails and we all feel it. Other times, things go well and there’s a bit of extra for everyone. We don’t have a big fancy office. It’s just a spot in the village where we gather. You’ll usually find someone drinking tea and complaining about the price of fertilizer. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure our village does okay. The roads get muddy when it rains, so we don't move much during the peak of the monsoon. We’ve been here for a long time and we know the land pretty well. It’s a slow life, but it’s what we know. We just take things one day at a time and hope for a good harvest. That’s really all there is to it for us.
