Brilliant Public School

You can find Brilliant Public School on Dumra Road in Sitamarhi. It’s a well-known spot because Dumra Road is one of the main ways to get around town. The school building has a big sign out front, but it’s nothing too flashy. We have many classrooms and they are usually quite full. The students come from all over Sitamarhi, some even from the outskirts. We have a daily routine that hasn't changed much in years. The bell rings, the kids line up, and then they go to their desks. We have wooden benches that are a bit heavy to move around. The floors are made of simple stone and they stay cool in the summer. We don't have air conditioning, so the windows are always open. Sometimes birds fly into the rooms and we have to shoo them out. Our teachers are hardworking people who live nearby. We have a small office where we keep all the records in big ledgers. We don't use computers for everything. Writing things down by hand is just how we do it. The playground is just a patch of land where the grass doesn't grow very well. The kids don't care though; they just want to run. It’s a very basic school without any hidden extras. We just provide the space and the time for the students to learn their lessons. Every afternoon when the school day ends, the road outside gets very crowded with bicycles and parents. It is a bit chaotic but it’s just part of our day.
