Rising Sun Retreat

Rising Sun Retreat is located Near Old Municipal Check Post Mount Abu Near Old Municipal Check Post. It’s a spot that most people pass when they are coming into the town. Being Near Old Municipal Check Post means we see a lot of the traffic entering the area every day. Mount Abu is a beautiful place, but our retreat is quite simple and basic. We have rooms for travelers and a small area where people can sit and relax. It’s not a luxury hotel with a lot of staff members. We do most of the work ourselves. The building has been here for many years. You can see the green hills from the windows. Sometimes the weather gets very cold, especially during the night. We make sure there are enough heavy blankets for everyone. The road outside can get a bit loud during the peak tourist season when the check post is busy. We spend our mornings cleaning the rooms and getting things ready for new guests. There is a lot of walking up and down the stairs for us. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. People mostly find us because they want to stay somewhere quiet and away from the main town bustle. We offer a basic place to sleep and some hot tea in the morning. It’s an honest living for us. We enjoy meeting the different people who come through. It makes the days interesting. We just keep things running the best we can every day.
