Syon Beauty Parlour

Syon Beauty Parlour is located right in Delwara. It’s a small place, nothing like those big salons you see in the city with the fancy music. We have a couple of chairs and some mirrors and that’s about it. It’s usually just a few of us here working. We know most of the ladies who come in because Delwara is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone else. We do hair and other basic beauty stuff. It’s not fancy or high-end. Sometimes we run out of a certain hair color or we have to wait for a delivery to come in from the bigger town nearby. The shop can get a bit gossipy, but that’s just how it is in a small parlour where people feel comfortable. We have some old magazines on the table for people to read while they wait their turn. The floor needs sweeping pretty often because of all the hair, but sometimes we get busy and it has to wait a bit until we have a spare second. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy to get attention. People just know where we are. It’s a relaxed atmosphere. We don't use any of those big words to describe what we do. We just help people look a bit neater and maybe feel better. It’s a simple life here in Delwara. We open up in the morning and stay until the last customer is done. It’s just a local business run by people who live nearby and care about the neighborhood.
