Tigga Security Committee

We are based out in Matigara, right along the Asian Highway-2 in the Jalpaiguri district. It’s a busy road with a lot of trucks and people moving through all the time. Tigga Security Committee isn't some massive organization, we are just a group focused on keeping things orderly around here. The location is good because we can get to different parts of the district fairly quickly. It’s a lot of coordinating with local folks and making sure our people are doing their jobs right. The weather around here can be a bit much sometimes, especially during the rains, but we stay at it. Our office is simple, nothing fancy to look at. We mostly deal with local security stuff and keeping watch over properties or events. Being on the highway means we see a lot of different things. It’s a lot of standing around and watching, which sounds easy but it gets long. We don't use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide people to watch over things. Most of us have lived in Jalpaiguri for years, so we know the area like the back of our hand. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but it’s what we do. We just keep things moving and try to make sure no trouble starts up for anyone nearby.
