Sun Prints

We operate out of Shed No. 33 in the Siliguri Industrial Estate. You can find us on Sevoke Road, not too far from the Sachitra Hotel. Being in an industrial estate means it’s a bit gritty and there is always the sound of machinery or trucks in the background. Our shed is a large, open space where we keep our printing presses and stacks of paper. It isn't a retail shop where you’d come to browse; it’s a place where we get the actual work done. We handle a lot of big orders for local companies. The air inside can get a bit warm during the summer months, but the high ceiling helps a little. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. We’re more concerned with making sure the machines are running properly and the ink levels are right. It’s a very practical setup. We wear work boots and old shirts because there is always a chance of getting a bit of grease or ink on ourselves. Lunch is usually a quick break at a nearby stall before getting back to the next batch of prints. We’ve been in this shed for years and it suits our needs perfectly. It is just a straightforward printing operation with no unnecessary frills or corporate nonsense.
