Printech

Printech is located over at 9/7/1, Modak Bari, right near Thana More on S. F. Road. Being in Darjeeling, the weather is often a bit chilly, so we keep the machines running almost all day to stay warm. It’s a busy part of town with plenty of noise from the street and the local traffic. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while. Most people find us because they’re passing through Thana More and realize they need something printed quickly. It’s a straightforward shop with paper stacks everywhere and that sharp smell of ink in the air. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty for visitors. The focus is always on the work sitting on the desk right in front of us. Sometimes it gets really hectic, especially when several orders come in at once, but we just put our heads down and get through it. My family has been in this area for years, so we know most of the neighbors and the shop owners nearby. If you are coming down S. F. Road, you’ll see our sign eventually, though it’s gotten a bit faded from the sun and rain. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure everything comes out looking right. We handle all sorts of jobs, from small personal things to bigger batches for local businesses. It’s honest work, and we like being part of the community here in Modak Bari. Nothing fancy, just Printech doing what we do every day.
