We've been over here in Siliguri for a while now. Specifically, you can find us in the Mallaguri area, just by Pradhannagar. It's a busy spot but we like it. The weather around West Bengal changes a lot, so we spend plenty of time keeping the place up. Running a hotel means there is always something to fix or a room to check. We have people coming through from all over, some just passing through Siliguri on their way to the hills and others here for work stuff. It gets noisy outside sometimes with the traffic, but inside we try to keep things steady. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we know the shortcuts and the good places to eat around here. We don't do anything too fancy, just the regular work of keeping the doors open and making sure the beds are made. Some days are busier than others, especially when the trains are on time and people arrive in groups. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops pop up, old ones close, but we're still right here at the same address. If you're looking for us, look for the sign near the post office area. It’s not hard to find if you know the road. We just do our jobs and go home at the end of the day. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy. We mostly just drink our tea and wait for the next person to come through the door.
