Hotel Uttara

We've been here in Hakimpara for a while now. It's on Bimal Sinha Sarani, right in the heart of Siliguri. Most people know this spot because it's easy to find if you're coming through Darjeeling or just moving around the city. We don't have anything fancy here, just rooms that work for folks traveling through. The building is a bit older but we try to keep things tidy. My family runs it and we usually sit at the desk ourselves most days. Sometimes the street gets a bit noisy with all the traffic and horns, but that's just how Siliguri is. It’s a busy place with people always on the move. If you're looking for a place to sleep without a lot of fuss, we are here. We get a lot of regulars who come back every time they have business in town. They seem to like being near the market area for their errands. We keep some water and basic stuff handy for anyone who checks in late at night. It’s not a big hotel, just a simple place for regular people. We try to keep the lights on and the rooms ready. You can find us right there in Hakimpara. It’s a good neighborhood with plenty of local shops around. Not much else to say really, we just do our daily work and make sure people have a decent bed for the night. The weather here changes fast, and we see people from all over.
