We have been running Isabella School for a while now over on Rai Sardar Road in Salugarah. If you live around Siliguri, you probably know where that is. It’s a busy spot but we manage to keep things quiet enough for the students. People often ask how we started, and honestly, it just happened because we saw a need for a school right here in the neighborhood. We don't have fancy glass buildings or anything, just a solid place where kids come to learn their lessons. Most of the staff live nearby, so we see the parents at the market too. It’s a local thing. Every morning, the gates open and the kids start trickling in from the surrounding streets. We focus on the basics like reading and math. Sometimes the weather in Siliguri gets a bit messy, especially during the rains, but the classes keep going. We have a small playground area where they run around during the break. It gets noisy then, but that’s just how schools are. We try to keep the classrooms tidy, though with so many children, there is always a bit of dust. It is a simple setup. We are just here doing our jobs and making sure the kids get their schooling done properly. If you walk past Rai Sardar Road, you will see the sign. It’s been there for years and we don't plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon.
