American Express Services India Ltd

We are based in the Green Valley Apartments near the Dadabhai Sporting Club in Deshbandhu Para. This is in Siliguri, up in the Darjeeling district. It is a nice part of town, quite different from the busy streets of Delhi. American Express Services India Ltd is the name on our door. The sporting club is a good landmark because everyone knows where it is. We are in one of the apartment blocks. It is a quiet residential area for the most part. You can see the trees and sometimes the weather is a bit misty, which is nice. The office itself is not very large. It feels more like a small community space. We have our computers and some chairs set up. There is a balcony where we go to take a breath of air. The stairs in the building are a bit steep. Most of us live nearby so the commute isn't too bad. We know the people living in the other apartments. It’s a very informal way to work compared to the big city offices. We just do our tasks and keep things moving. The apartment is comfortable enough for what we need. It’s a practical and straightforward place to be. We don't have fancy lights or a glass entrance. Just a door with a lock and a name. It is what it is. We are happy to be out of the noise.
