Paras Traders

You can find Paras Traders on Station Road, right across from the Maru Mandir. It’s a very busy part of town. There’s always people walking by on their way to the station or coming from the temple. The bells from the mandir are something we hear all day long. It’s a nice sound to have in the background while we work. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things high to make everything fit. It can be a bit of a maze inside sometimes. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who come in off the street. Some of them have been coming to us for years and we know them by name. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a regular trading shop. We handle our own books and do all the lifting ourselves. On hot days, we leave the door wide open to get a bit of a breeze, even though it brings in some of the dust from the road. We try to keep things simple. We buy what we need and sell it to the people who need it. There’s no big strategy behind it, just daily business. Sometimes we run out of space and have to leave things on the sidewalk for a bit, but we try to keep it tidy. It’s just how we operate here on Station Road.
