This business is right here in Viraniya village, which is part of the Fatehpur Tahsil. It’s a quiet place, mostly fields around us and a lot of local faces we’ve known for years. We’ve been running things from this spot for a long time, and we don't plan on moving anywhere else. It’s a simple building, nothing like what you’d see in the big cities. We handle a bit of everything that the local community needs. Most days involve talking to neighbors and sorting out orders. It gets a bit muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time sweeping the floor to keep it clean. There isn't a fancy office with air conditioning. We just leave the windows open for a breeze. People around here know where to find us, just off the main path in the village. We don't use much technology besides the basics. Most of our records are still in big notebooks because that’s how we’ve always done it. It works for us and we don't see a reason to change. We aren't looking to grow into some huge corporation. We just like being a part of life here in Viraniya. Sometimes the power goes out for a few hours in the afternoon, but we just carry on with the manual work. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We value the relationships we have with the people who live nearby. It's just home for us.
