Jai Ambe Building Material

In Ward No.2 over at Rameshwar Colony, you’ll find us. We go by Jai Ambe Building Material. This is in Reengus, in the Jaat Bazar area. Most people find us because we are right opposite the Dhaga Compound. It’s a busy spot. We deal with all the things you need to put a building together, like bricks, sand, and other materials. It’s a lot of physical work, loading and unloading. We start pretty early before the heat gets too bad in Sikar. The bazar is always crowded, so getting trucks in and out can be a real headache sometimes. You have to shout over the noise of the traffic just to talk to the customers. We’ve got a small space where we keep the books, but mostly we are outside. We aren't trying to be the biggest place, just a reliable one for the neighbors in Rameshwar Colony. Sometimes we run out of something and have to wait for the next load to come in, and that’s when things get a bit stressful. But usually, we just keep the pile of sand moving and the bricks stacked up neat enough so they don’t fall over. It’s a straightforward business. We know our regulars by name and we usually have a cup of tea while we talk about the latest construction projects going on in the ward or just catch up on the local news.
