Baba Sankri Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Sandokh Raj’s place in Meer Udhampurpanchari. We are a bunch of local farmers who decided to come together because doing things alone was just getting too hard. It’s not some big fancy office we have here. It’s just a place where we can coordinate our work and try to figure out how to get our crops to the market without losing money. The roads up here in the Udhampur area are a bit rough, and the weather doesn’t always go our way, so having a group helps us deal with those challenges. We focus on the crops that have always grown here. Most of us have been working the soil since we were children. There isn't much to say about us except that we work hard and we’re honest about what we do. We handle all the paperwork ourselves, which can be a real headache sometimes, but we’re learning as we go. It’s a producer company on paper, but in reality, it’s just neighbors and family members trying to make a living. We don't have any slick marketing or big promises to make. We just have our land and our hands. If you ever come through Meer, you’ll see us out in the fields. We aren't trying to do anything grand. We just want to move our products and keep the farms going for another season.
