Sanskaar Vaily Public School

If you go to Ward Number-1 in Alampur, you will find our school right there. It’s in the Bhind district, so it gets quite hot and dry during the summer months. The school building is a simple one with a few floors and a courtyard where everyone gathers for the morning prayer. We have a gate that opens early so the kids can start coming in from the nearby houses. Most of them live just a short walk away. Inside, the classrooms are filled with wooden benches and the teachers use plenty of chalk on the boards. There is always a bit of dust in the air, especially when the kids are running around during the lunch break. We have a small office near the front where we keep all the records and talk to the parents when they stop by. It’s a basic setup but we have everything we need to keep things running. The walls are painted a light color and we have some charts hanging up that the students made. In the winter, the mornings are cold and everyone comes wrapped up in sweaters and scarves. We don't have any fancy equipment, just the books and the desks and the regular school day. It’s a quiet part of Alampur and the neighbors all know us. We just try to get the work done and make sure the kids are learning.
