Travel Desire India

We are over here in the Thakur Building along the Bypass Road in Panthagati. It is a busy enough spot and if you know Shimla, you know the traffic can get a bit much during the tourist season. We’ve been operating Travel Desire India from this office for a while now. Most days it’s just us handling phone calls and trying to sort out trips for folks coming up from the plains. The air is a bit cooler here than down in the main city center sometimes. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a couple of desks, some chairs for when people stop by to ask about car rentals or hotel stays, and a lot of maps pinned up on the walls. Panthagati is a good place to be because it’s out of the way but still connected to the main roads. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure everyone gets where they need to go without too much trouble. Sometimes the internet acts up when the weather turns, which happens more than you'd think in the hills. We just do our work and try to help people see the sights around Himachal. It’s not a complicated setup we have here. Just a local office where we keep track of bookings and chat with travelers. If you walk past the bypass, you’ll likely see our sign. It's a simple life running a travel business in the mountains, mostly just keeping things moving.
