Vibrant Himalayas

Our place is located right near the Victory Tunnel. If you’ve spent any time in this area, you know it’s a spot where everyone passes through eventually. Vibrant Himalayas is basically just a small setup we have here. We spend most of our time talking about the mountains and figuring out the best routes for people who want to head up higher. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some chairs and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. It gets quite cold in the winters, so we usually have a heater going and plenty of tea. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It’s mostly just a couple of us who grew up around these hills and decided to make a living out of it. We know the roads well and which spots are good for a quiet stop. Dealing with mountain weather means things don't always go exactly to plan, but we try to be practical about it. People stop by to ask for directions or just to chat about the local trails. We like that it feels local. There’s no scripted talk here. We just tell people what we know from our own experience. Sometimes the traffic by the tunnel is a mess, but that’s just life here. We’ve been at this for a bit now and it feels right to be part of the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just want to keep doing what we love in the hills.
