Thakur Timber Sale Depot

Thakur Timber Sale Depot is located at Thakur Niwas in Sangti, which is over in the Summer Hill area of Shimla. We are quite close to the Shiv Mandir there. Summer Hill is a bit different from the rest of Shimla; it’s a bit quieter and has a lot of trees. Our depot is where we keep all the wood and timber. It’s a dusty place, honestly, but that’s the nature of the business. We have piles of wood stacked up, and there’s always the sound of something being moved or cut. We’ve been in Sangti for a long time, and most of the locals know where to find us. People come to us when they are building something or need repairs. It’s honest work. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. We mostly spend our time outside or in the shed where the timber is stored. The Shiv Mandir nearby is a good landmark for people who haven't been to this part of Summer Hill before. We like it here because it’s away from the main city rush. The air feels a bit different with all the wood around. We just handle the orders as they come in and make sure people get what they need for their houses. It’s not a complicated business, just moving wood and talking to customers about what kind of timber works best for the mountain weather and the humidity we get here.
