We've been running Summit Safari out of our small shop in the Ramsarandaas Building for a while now. If you know Sanjauli, we're right near the Amartex building, shop number 9 or 10. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. People often stop by just to ask directions or chat about the roads up here in Shimla. We spend most of our time answering phones and looking at maps. It's just a few of us working here. We try to keep things simple and help people get where they need to go without making a big fuss. Sometimes the internet is slow or the weather makes things difficult, but that's just how it is in the hills. We handle bookings and plan out routes for people who want to see the mountains. It's not a fancy office with big glass windows or anything. We have a few desks and some chairs for when locals or travelers drop in. Most days start with tea and checking the weather reports. We know these roads well because we live here. We don't use flashy ads or try to sell things people don't need. If someone wants to see the sights around Himachal, we just tell them what's possible and what isn't. It’s a quiet way to make a living. We’ve seen the town change a lot over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. Just everyday work for us.
