Our shop is number 310 in the PD Complex. We are right there on The Ridge, which is the heart of Mall Road in Shimla. It’s a great spot because there’s always something happening outside. We spend our hours talking to tourists and organizing their holiday plans. The office isn't very large, but it's enough for us to work in. Since we are in the 171001 area, we see the town change with the seasons. We've been here for a good bit of time. It's mostly just local talk and checking on bus timings. We don't use any big words or complicated systems. It’s just us, a couple of phones, and a notebook for bookings. Sometimes the monkeys on The Ridge cause a bit of a stir, but we are used to that. We help people find hotels or book a taxi to the next town. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. My partner handles the morning shift and I take over in the afternoon. We try to keep things relaxed. If you're walking along The Ridge, you can easily find us in the complex. It’s a familiar place for anyone who lives in Shimla. We don't have a big corporate mission, just a small shop where we do our daily tasks. The stairs to the third floor can be a bit steep, but we don't mind the exercise. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively. It makes the day go faster when things are quiet.
