Span Tour And Travels

We’ve got our small office at Shop No. 4, right across from the GPO on The Mall. Being on The Mall in Shimla means there’s always people walking past the window. Span Tour And Travels has been in this spot for quite a bit. It’s a very central location, which makes it easy for folks to stop by while they’re out for a walk. The shop isn’t very big, so it can get a bit cramped when more than two people walk in at once. We usually have the door open to let in some air, though it gets cold in the winter months. We spend a lot of time talking to tourists who are lost or looking for a way to get to the higher ridges. We don’t have any polished sales pitch, we just tell them what we know about the local spots and the roads. Sometimes we’re just sitting there watching the post office across the street and the crowds going by. It’s a busy life here, but we like being in the middle of everything. We keep our records in some old folders and try to stay on top of the phone calls. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t do anything fancy, just help people figure out their travel plans while they’re visiting our town. It's just us, a desk, and a lot of local knowledge.
