We are located over at Maa Chint Purni Bhawan, which is down in the Kachi Ghati area of Shimla. If you know the neighborhood, you probably know Tapan Motors; our office is actually situated right below them. Being near Tara Devi means we see a lot of people coming and going toward the main town. It is a pretty straightforward setup here. We spend our days mostly on the phones or talking to drivers who are heading out for the day. The building is easy to find once you are on the main road, but sometimes the traffic makes it a bit of a wait to turn in. There are just a few of us working in the office, so it stays fairly quiet unless the phones start ringing all at once. We have been in this spot for a while now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the hills and the seasonal rush. It gets quite chilly in the winters, but the view of the valley from nearby is usually worth it. We don't do much fancy advertising or anything like that. Most folks just stop by because they saw the sign or heard about us from someone else in town. We keep our paperwork in order and try to make sure everything runs as smooth as it can. It is a basic local business where we focus on the daily tasks of getting people where they need to go.
