Rohit Taxi Services is basically just me and the cars parked over by the Nabha Estate area near the railway station. It’s a busy spot, especially when the morning trains pull in and everyone is looking for a way to get to their hotels. I’ve lived in Shimla my whole life, so I know which roads are blocked and which ones have the best shortcuts when the traffic gets bad. My office is just a small space near the station, nothing fancy at all. Most of the time, I'm out on the road or checking the tires. It’s hard work driving these hills, but it's what I know how to do. I don't have a big team or a call center. When you call, you usually just get me. I try to keep the cars clean, though the mountain dust makes it a constant battle. The weather here can be tricky, especially in the winter, so I always tell people to be patient. I started this because I liked being my own boss and meeting people from different places. It’s just a straightforward taxi service for anyone needing a lift around Shimla or further out. I don’t use any flashy words to describe what I do. I just pick people up and drop them off where they need to go, as safely as I can manage. Sometimes I'm late because of the cattle on the road, but I always get there eventually. I just want to keep the car moving.
